The jungle surrounding us in Rabieh between Street 7 and Street 8. The plots not constructed are private, but the owners are not reachable. These plots have turned into a jungle with tons of dry trees and grass, with a real threat of fires. The municipality used to clean them and treat the wild pine trees against dangerous insects, but with the complicated economic situation these plots haven't been trimmed for years now, which we do understand. The fire threat is getting bigger with time, and the municipality is not equipped to intervene quickly in case of emergency. For this reason, we would like to suggest to the municipality a swap solution: call in private trimming experts to do it at their own cost, and in exchange take the wood and sell it.
If you have seen this repaired, send a photo of the spot as it is now. It stays private until a person at Baladi Map checks it, faces and number plates are blurred, and the report then shows as fixed.
